Basic course offering lifesaving first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home.
Meets the requirements for federally regulated employees that require Basic First Aid as outlined in the Canada Labour Code.
Guidelines allow for recertification training to individuals who hold a current certification card issued within the last 3 years. Upon arrival, participants must provide a copy of a valid certificate. If your certification exceeds 3 years, please see our schedule for an upcoming full course.
Upon completion of the training, participants will receive a 3 year Canadian Red Cross Emergency First Aid/CPR level C/AED certificate.

Following your registration, you will receive an email with important information about your course. As a reminder, it is only through pre-payment that your course is confirmed. If you did not receive an email, please check your spam folder email or call our office at 306-933-2472.
If this is a business registration and the business has an account with First Aid for Life, please complete the "company" information in the registration form.
This course does not meet the Saskatchewan Occupational Health & Safety standards. Please see the Standard First Aid course listings if you require a provincially regulated first aid attendant certificate.

Payment: Prepayment is recommended. We offer courses on a first come basis and participants who have prepaid will be given priority, as we have limited space in each course. When completing your online registration you will be given the option to pay with a credit card, or if you prefer, you may pay in person or over the phone. We accept cash, Mastercard and Visa. If your employer has an account with us, we can invoice following the course.
Location: All courses are held at First Aid for Life Training Centre. This is located in the Airport Village Mall on the corner of Avenue C and Cynthia Street, 1 block north of the Travelodge Hotel. (Look for the giant palm tree!)
Parking: For all weekday courses, please park on Cynthia Street. Weekend and evening course participants may park in the parking lot.
Cancellation Policy: 5 business days is required to receive full refund, otherwise a single transfer to a selected course within 60 days will be made available.
Please arrive on time, as 100% attendance is mandatory. Outdoor shoes are not allowed in the classroom as many of our skills are practiced on the floor, therefore socks, indoor shoes or slippers are recommended.
