BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (Healthcare Provider) CPR/AED Recertification

This course is designed to build participant confidence in performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills and provide the important steps to perform a rapid assessment, Basic Life Support (BLS) skills, and rapid defibrillation. The BLS course is intended for in-facility care providers, including nursing staff, care aides, medical or dental professionals, and pre-hospital care providers, which may include professionals in EMS, fire service, rescue teams, sports medicine, lifeguards and ski patrol.
Prerequisites
Current certification in Basic Life Support (Healthcare Provider) / AED certificate issued within 1 year.
Completion
Successfully demonstrate all course skill competencies
Minimum 75% mark for written, closed book, knowledge evaluation
Attend and participate in 100% of the course
Upon completion of the training, you will receive a Canadian Red Cross 1-year certification in Basic Life Support (digital certificate issued upon successful completion)
